Our history
MIV started in 2017 but Barthel Armaturen, which is our backbone, has since 1932 been a reliable distributor and stock-keeping manufacturer of valves and fittings mainly for the shipbuilding and naval industry but also in other services sectors.
MIV belongs to Barthel Armaturen with an extensive logistic network including branches in Spain, Brazil, USA, South Africa, UK, Greece, Russia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.
Our customers are international ship and superyacht owners, shipyards, offshore companies, ship chandlers, local and foreign piping & construction companies and trading companies.

Due to our own production in Hamburg, we are able to respond to your individual requirements with flexibility and offer customized solutions.

We supply directly from factories to any port in Spain.
Barthel Armaturen has its own manufacturing plant which produces, repairs, checks, modifies and tests valves according to our customers’ requirements in the presence of all classification societies. This ensures high quality and increases valve life, reduces investment and shortens delivery time.
We are a rigorous company where quality and customer satisfaction is not only a condition, but also our greatest goal. We achieve this by investing in people and technology, through proximity to the client and minimizing delivery time or amending administrative issues.
Our facilities include offices and a warehouse next to the port of Las Palmas.
